Savour the Flavour highlights local produce in stores across the region. From your local farm shop to the supermarket, you can trust that food showing the Savour the Flavour logo has been grown or produced within the six counties of the West Midlands.
Savour the Flavour, launched in 2002 by HEART of ENGLAND fine foods (HEFF) , is a branded support scheme for retailers. If a retailer extends their range of regional produce, HEFF can provide branded display equipment. The scheme has assisted many producers gain valuable listings in retail outlets; many of which may not, previously, have stocked local products.
Since its launch Savour the Flavour has worked with over 80 independent retailers in the region, providing display units, point of sale material and on-going PR support, assistance with planning open days and promotion through ‘relish’: the fabulous food club.
When out shopping in the region - or even further afield - look out for the Savour the Flavour logo to ensure the food and drink you are buying is from the Heart of England! If you cannot see the logo but there is a lot of regional produce in store let us know; they may be entitled to a unit from HEFF.
